Reviewed Cheesy Roasted Garlic Grits

Super rich and decadent grits. Very yummy. Definite comfort food. My husband thought they were a smidge too garlicky but I thought it was perfect. I might add a little more stock or water next time because it cooked down thicker than I expected. I will definitely make them again. Thanks Jeff, you're a nut and I love it! "

Reviewed Cubano

It was very good - I didn't have any leftover pork loin to use and they don't sell anything like that at the deli, so I tasted a few meats to substitute and came up with pastrami (just cause it tasted so darn good). The pickles were easy and delicious. I think I will use the George Foreman grill next time because I was so paranoid about burning it"

We made this and the cubano sandwiches for dinner yesterday. My husband usually gives me a hard time when I make soup ("what is with you and soup?"), but he commented several times between spoonfuls that he loved it! Very, very flavorful. I wanted more beans, so I threw in a can of kidney beans and it was wonderful. Thank you Melissa D!"

Reviewed Sloppy Jose with Chorizo, Charred Poblanos and Avocado Crema

Super flavorful! Ours were very spicy but part of that was we just happened to get a spicy batch of poblanos (I rubbed my nose after chopping them and was ON FIRE!). The chorizo was yummy and messy, the poblanos added an extra kick, and the crema had that amazing acidity from the lime that cut through the richness of the meat. Keep up the great wo"

Reviewed Roasted Tomato Bisque

Really good! I couldn't get the texture quite right, I think it may have been that my carrots were pretty big and they didn't blend down fine enough. After I blended it, I thought it was still missing a little something-something so I added a squeeze of sriracha and it really kicked it up a bit. I will definitely make it again! Thanks Jeff!""

Oooo eeem gee. As I write this, I am still savoring this amazing cookie in my teeth. It was amazing. Perfect chocolate chunk to dough ratio, great texture, just enough crunch on the outside but perfectly soft and gooey on the inside. The salt absolutely makes this cookie. I was worried about putting cinnamon in a chocolate chip cookie, but it add...

Ah-maz-ing!!!! Outta this world good! Perfect texture, flavor, everything. The whipped topping is so great and adds an extra kind of creaminess. I've made a pumpkin swirl cheesecake for several years and saw this episode and decided to try something different and boy, am I glad I did!

Reviewed Poblano Stuffed with Chorizo, Shrimp and Rice

Our first Guy recipe and I was surprised by the lack of punch and flavor. I'm not even much of a heat person, but I'd definitely add another jalapeño next time. With this list of ingredients I didn't think it couldn't be fantastic, but they all kind of cooked together into much....maybe too much rice?? The white wine was kind of weird for me....maybe...

I followed along step-by-step, but it really wasn't that flavorful :( We had company over and I was super excited, so slightly disappointed that it wasn't mind-blowing. I'll try other recipes by Aarti, hopefully packing more FLAVOR.

We've made this several times, it is so delicious. I have made a few adjustments, like using Italian bread crumbs and italian seasoned tomatoes just for more flavor. I've made a few things by Giada and this is my fav so far.
