About Me

I am a prototypical modern American mom - I work full time during the day, then come home to play mom to 4 beautiful children. I grew up in South Louisiana where everyone is a great cook, and the best food on earth is brought to the table from the garden and from the water.  My mother always taught me that there is always some part of the meal that children can be involved in, so my kids have grown up in the kitchen helping out and learning valuable techniques.  I hope you enjoy my food blog - http://menumusings.blogspot.com
