Reviewed spicy vegetarian red beans and rice

We liked this recipe. My beans were still a bit toothsome and it is because I sauteed the kale and beans probably too long - and then added cold water. I should have warmed the water. I added salt at the end, but no where near as much as Guy did on his show. Served over brown rice. Good for meatless Monday.

Reviewed Mussels with Chorizo and Fennel

Really good and easy! I couldn't find the chorizo, so I used Tasso ham. Yum! I think sometimes seafood can be intimidating, but Michelle made this easy! I will make this again, which I rarely say. "
