I live in Deep East Texas, an area, not a town. I am presently working at a care center for the elderly. I enjoy working in my yard, playing with my beagle and my poodle both of whom are adoped. I also love spending lots of time with my family. I love to cook and try new recipes so I am glad I found Recipezaar. I love the Rachael Ray 30 minute cookbooks as I don't always have a lot of time to prepare meals. My passions are all animal and enviromental needs. My pet peeves are people who litter and don't recycle when they can.
Favorite Foods
Steak, seafood (except crawfish), potatoes and gravy, jasmine rice and just about anything oriental. I make a mean southern chili (my grandmothers recipe) and living in Texas that is totally different. I don't really have a truely favorite restaurant, but I do love to eat at Outback and Red Lobster.
