My Activity

Reviewed Rosemary White Bean Soup

"This recipe saved my night. I was going to a "soup" party and knew that I wanted a white bean soup. Mine was just missing the mark.... I used homemade ham stock instead of chicken, because that was my orginial plan. I was close to Ina's recipe other than that. I added carrots and celery and ground ginger. I went to my party very happy!! My "

Reviewed Tomato Pie

"First let me say YUMMMM. Big hit at brunch.

need to knows get the "Deep Dish" crust...I didn't, but I was smart enough to put a cookie sheet to catch my mess.

Let those tomatoes drain. If you don't you will have a very loose/soupy pie. Still great just not so nice to look at.

Lastly, I used Mozzeralla pearls instead of shredded Mozzeralla. "

Reviewed Cream of Mushroom Soup

"Is it wrong to have Cream of Mushroom Soup for Breakfast? I often cook soups and such in the morning as the kids are getting ready for school because so many of them taste better when they "sit". This one is ready to go! If you don't cook a lot or follow recipes well this one could be a little harder (as I don't think it was written the best IE/ missing when to put the garlic in). But this one is most defiantly a keeper!!!

Reviewed Balsamic Glazed London Broil

"Forgot to marinate my meat and wanted to add some flavor quick...so glad I picked this sauce. No issues with thickening the sauce (don't be afraid to turn the burner up, and think cold medicine not gravy). Big hit! Would like to try it in other ways.

Reviewed Fried Corn

"Wanted a quick fried corn and this a great option. Everyone loved it. We had it with a slightly spicy Mexican meal and it was the perfect complement.
