Reviewed Vanilla Spice Oatmeal
"I find that I have trouble sleeping at night due to an illness, so I have a very annoying (and weight-gaining) habit of snacking late at night, since that's the equivalent of early evening for other people. I rarely have anything healthy around to eat, but I tried this recipe tonight. So quick and easy, I almost ruined it! For anyone like me who tends to take 3 or 4 times as long as indicated to cook anything, don't expect that to happen here. I started the oats cooking and almost before I had the rest measured out, they were done!
I would say that for anyone with a sweet tooth, you may need a bit more sugar and raisins than listed, but that's just me. I also used a little less nutmeg and a tad more cinnamon, also simply because I like cinnamon more than nutmeg. Definitely one I'll be keeping handy.
