Reviewed Chicken in Mustard

"I am a long-time fan of Melissa and I have made many of her recipes but I think that Chicken in Mustard is one of her very best!! The flavor is amazingly rich and delicious. I really wanted to lick the plate to get every last bit of the sauce. I made the leek salad and the buttered noodles and they were the perfect accompaniments. If I could gi""

Reviewed Perfect Basil Sauce

"This sauce is SO delicious!! I used it on steak instead of burgers and it worked perfectly. It also makes an amazingly good salad dressing. I just love the fresh taste of the basil and the creamy texture from the mayonnaise. I'm sure I will be finding other uses for this sauce - next up grilled salmon.""

Reviewed Roasted Garlic Clove Chicken

"This chicken is so delicious and so easy!! It's a perfect example of what I love about Melissa's recipes. I made sure that the pieces of chicken were completely dry and that the pan was really hot so I was able to get a beautiful golden brown saute. The garlic was the perfect accent. I will defintely be making this again.""

Reviewed Chicago Italian Beef (Pot Roast Style

"Amazing Italian beef!! I'm from Chicago and LOVE Italian beef but it's hard to find the real deal now that we've moved to Florida. My husband and I loved the Italian beef show and loved the sandwich even more. I cheated and used store-bought Giardinara but the sandwich was still incredibly delicious. I confess I was cheering for Susie - and I ""

Reviewed Chicken Tagine

"This recipe brings a new flavor twist to one of my menu staples - chicken thighs. I actually bought preserved lemons so that I could make this recipe right away instead of waiting to make my own lemon confit. I think the preserved lemons give the chicken its lively fresh flavor. I will definitely make this one again but in the future I will plan""

Reviewed Burrito Bowl

"This recipe has amazing flavor! I followed the recipe exactly except that I made the pork in the slow cooker and shredded it on Sunday and then finished the pork and made the rice and pico de gallo on Monday. The combination of all the different parts is just extraordinay!! I was surprised how much the orange zest added to the rice and complime""

Reviewed Beef and Bechamel Lasagna

"The bechamel sauce in this recipe reminded me of the Greek dish moussaka, so I made the lasagna with ground lamb instead of ground beef. The cinnamon and nutmug went perfectly with the lamb. I see that several reviewers thought there was too much liquid. I didn't have that problem but that may be because I let the lasagna rest overnight in the fridge. I did have a problem getting the bechamel to thicken up and had to add additional flour mixed with water to get the consistency I wanted. I will make this lasagna again but next time I'll double the meat sauce and reserve the "second half" to pour over the top when I serve the lasagna. "
