My Activity

Reviewed Big Daddy's Blackened Tilapia

"Amazing! My hubby and I both loved it and it was so easy to make. We will definitely be adding this to our recipe box."

Reviewed Beef and Butternut Squash Stew

"I made a half portion for me and my hubby and accidentally put in a whole portion of both the butternut squash and the sundried tomatoes but it was still tasty and hearty. I didnt have any beef broth on hand so I subbed it with chicken broth instead. since it was a one pot dish clean up was super easy and letting it simmer for an hour let me do other things around the house.

Reviewed Royal Icing

"it was great tasting though it was too stiff to use for piping. I added a little bit of milk to loosen it and then it was too runny for piping. very frustrating and very difficult to add food coloring to. would not make again.

Reviewed Holiday Gingerbread Cookies

"easy recipe! first timer at holiday cookie making and this easy ginerbread recipe was a hit! I used a hand mixer and still got great results. I used a different icing recipe though. I will definately make again next year.

Reviewed Pear Tart

"This was my first attempt ever at making pie crust and it turned out great! I used a regular pie plate instead of a springform pan so I ended up with 3 times more filling than I could use, and my crust was thicker than it should have been since the dish I used was not as deep. Still my hubby loved it and I plan to use the excess filling for turnovers. I sliced the pears thinner than the recipe called for and I think it looked prettier. overall a really easy no fuss recipe.
