My Activity

Reviewed Panko-Crusted Salmon

"One word: Awesome! Wouldn't change a thing about the recipe as it is. However, I did use a different mustard on a few of the salmon pieces, and I think any mustard would be fine. I used a cast iron pan and found the cooking times for searing and baking per the recipe were perfect. I served it on a bed of arugula/spinach with some dressing I mad"

Reviewed Lobster Mac & Cheese

"I should probably not review this because I don't like the taste of real butter nor do I care of huge amounts of cheese. My husband made this and he loved it! If you're like me though and can't stand anything too rich, I wouldn't make it. I get ribbed by my husband for not liking butter and still calling myself a pretty darn good home cook. Al"

Reviewed Zucchini Salad

"Based on all the positive reviews, I can't wait to try this recipe. I have lots of fresh zucchini from my garden right now, so I'm looking for new ways to prepare it. "

Reviewed Good Eats Meatloaf

"Oh my,my,my...... what a delicious meatloaf. It's the glaze that really makes it special so I suggest spreading your meatloaf out as wide as possible on your cookie sheet so you have more area to cover with glaze. :^) YUM! I think the honey is the secret ingrediant. Adjust cooking time, of course. My husband made it and we just ate it with some mashed potatoes. Made great meatloaf sandwiches the next couple of days after too."

Reviewed Scalloped Tomatoes

"Delicious! Who wouldn't like all these great flavors combined together? I served it with Ina's ricotta bruchetta (also yum!) and the arugula salad with lemon dijon dressing. I also cooked up some beef filets (all from her cookbook). I overcooked the filets - my husband is usually the cook when it comes to beef but next time I won't make the same mistake. Alos fleur de sal (or something like that I didn't realize is a certain "salt" and not flour. Ooops! I also roasted some asparagus in the oven. How heatlthy and delicious is that!

Reviewed Saffron Risotto with Butternut Squash

"I've made this recipe over and over and over again and it's always so good. I add fresh rosemary sometimes and even red pepper flakes for added zing. I gained a love of roasted butternut squash from this recipe so sometimes I just make that as a side. Enjoy!!
