Reviewed Crisp-Tender Roast Duck with Cherry-Rosemary Sauce

Dec 15, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I made this tonight! Like the others, I thought this was wonderul! I have always been intimidated by duck and all my fears are now cast aside. This recipe was a bit of work but truly worth it. Truly fantastic!

This came out great! I used beef shanks instead of ribs since they were less expensive but a perfect braising meat just the same. 7 hours on the high setting seemed too much so I used the low setting instead. The meat fell off the bone and the sauce was delicious. The Mexican Crema was a perfect topping along with the Cilantro. You really don't...

Made them this morning and they were great! One suggestion however is to make sure you put some of the egg wash on the pastry BEFORE you first fold over the corner as it will keep the seams together better.

Also when are people going to realize that they are supposed to rate a recipe AFTER they try it. Why would somebody rate...
