"This recipe inspired me to try making my own pumpkin puree, and now I'm a convert! It was easy to do, and made this pie the best pumpkin pie I've ever baked or eaten. My family is okay with pumpkin pie, but this one was a pie they loved. The filling is light, and the streusel is delicious. I added a small amount of ginger and cloves because I love a spicier filling, but other than that followed the recipe exactly. Well worth the effort - great recipe, Michele!
