Reviewed Sweet and Spicy Short Rib Tacos

"This was really great. Based on reviews I bumped up the onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Also could not get the Anchos so subbed Chipotle peppers and some ancho chili powder. Flavor was really delicious with the corn tortilla, crema and cilantro! 3hrs in the oven at 350 was perfect! I can see if I hadn't increased some ingredients that it wouldn't have been so good.

Reviewed Crostini with Sun-Dried Tomato Jam

"Really great! I have made this several years and everyone loves it. I have found that it takes a little longer than the recipe says to get to the right consistency but not much. Great left over...just make the crostini and goat cheese fresh. One of our favorites!!

Reviewed Prosciutto Standing Rib Roast with Figs

"We love this recipe. Had it for Xmas last year and again this year. Family raved each time. Figs and Shallots are so good and the meat is very flavorful. The only input would be that cooking time is so dependant on your piece of meat. Last year we had an eight and quarter lb roast and needed to add 40 mins to cooking time (after initial 25 min browning) to get to med rare. This year we had eight and a half roast so added the 40 mins and right at the 1 hour and 10 mins I could smell that it was done. Brought it out and it was perfect. This years roast was bigger and took 40 mins less to hit med rare. You really have to use your thermometer and your nose!

Reviewed Crostini Alla Romana

"These were soooo good! They are so simple with huge flavor. The sage butter makes it and is such a surprise. Great served hot and still really great after they sit a short while. Hearty so better for a lot of people or an appetizer party. Too much if you are having a big dinner afterwards. We ate so many that we skipped dinner!
