My Activity

Reviewed Peanut Butter Pie

"I'm a peanut butter lover and so is my family so we loved the flavor-filled peanut butter pie. My son really loved the fudge topping, not overly sweet. My first try at melting chocolate over double boiler. It was easy! My only concern was that I would have liked the texture a little lighter. It could be due to the Low Fat Peanut Butter that I used""

Reviewed Pumpkin Cheesecake

"I really enjoyed this Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe. It was easy to put together and tasted nice and light. Great for a Thanksgiving dessert. I did not use the ground cloves and enjoyed the light taste of the pumpkin cheesecake as did the family.""

Reviewed Brined Herb-Crusted Turkey with Apple Cider Gravy

"I did not care much for the strong taste of the apple cider.""

Reviewed Aunt Peggy's Cheesecake with Praline Topping

"My first attempt at baking a cheesecake. The recipe was easy for me and tasted good. The Praline Topping was a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time I'll just do the cheesecake w/o the topping. Thank you Paula for helping me walk thru my first attempt!""

About Me

Hi, I'm from the island of Oahu in the beautiful state of Hawaii! We have great food here and some pretty good home cooking both by the men and women. It's a family event to cook and eat here!! I would like to get a little bit out of the rut I'm in of cooking the same dishes. I'm branching out and my family will be my guinea pigs, sorry, taste testers, I mean! Aloha, me I'm 58. I'm asian but please, I don't eat rice and noodles all the time! That's why I love the Food Network. It serves to enlighten all of us thru people and diverse cultures while showing us all that we are all the same in many ways.
