I don't understand how the poster below shelled out $40 for a few ingredients, this recipe is simple, easy and a winner. If you follow the directions and allow the discs to firm up in the freezer, etc. it will come out perfect every time. Beautiful cheesecake, the biscotti crust was nice to mix it up, and I had some handmade that I didn't feel like we were eating up quick enough, but I love the thought of switching that aspect up w/ something beyond grahm crackers, Nilla Wafers, or ginger snaps.

The only change I made was I left out the orange zest and splashed...

I've made this three times. My only tweak is adding vanilla to cake batter & the baking time, maybe its my bakeware, but first time it was still pretty raw after the hour. Had to put back in oven , 2nd time overcooked, 3rd time I nailed it. Needs at least 1 hr 20 mins in my oven. But that being said this is a winner. I love it, my husband's Mexi...
