"I am upset with the fact that cooking channel has called pork roll a "SPAM-like breakfast meat!" That sounds really off-putting. It is MUCH more like canadian bacon! This is a classic sandwich in the NJ/Philly area and is delicious! Try pork roll, and you will find that it is NOT like spam!"

"I made these for Thanksgiving and they were a big hit! I followed the recipe exactly, even using a mandoline to thinly slice the apples. Making garnishes out of the leftover puff pastry is a great idea as well, to top your tarts.
