we love this recipe to top greek yogurt. I have a gluten allergy so I use flax seed in place of the wheat germ. I also use pepitas to replace half of the almonds when they are on hand. a little flaked coconut thrown in doesn't hurt either! I a few minutes to the cooking time to help it crisp up.""

this was quite good- my husband loved it. i added havarti to the grits in place of manchengo and it worked in a pinch. i also added the zest of a lemon to the grits and to the shrimp. i squeezed a little lemon and sprinkled some fresh parsley over the finished dish."
