I made these tonight and they were delicious!!!! Something different for a change. Of course my husband (an onion lover) said they could use onions! I liked them just the way the were. I might caramelize some onions next time and he could put them on top himself. I think cooking the onions with the potatoes might make them quite not so crispy."

I have made these for years, but would beat the egg whites until stiff first...this recipe left out that step and made them soooo much easier to make. They tasted just the same!"

Very good, but I saw others that said it was too sweet. I used 1 cup sugar total for the 2 sheets of pastry. It was sweet enough for me. I also sprinkled cinnamon before folding and baking. I baked it at 400` convection. "
