slight variation on the recipe. i used all purpose flour with the baking powder/soda built in. also i made muffins, with mini chocolate chips, and added a Tablespoon of pure vanilla extract. with muffins i only needed 22 minutes per muffin tin to bake. it made about 24 muffins. very good recipe."

Solid 4 possible 4.5. i substituted 4 oz. applesauce for oil and 3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar for the 1 cup White Sugar. and also threw 3/4 a bag (possibly a bit too much) of Chocolate Chips in it. i can only say you CAN'T take a bite without chocolate with my mods. also i used a Bundt pan vs loaf pans, and it came out very well and about 15 minu"

they came out VERY well. i didn't have lard so i used shortening and no problems. i also left it in the fridge for a few days because i didn't have time to make it just then. they were fine, soft, thin and very tasty. now i don't have to buy tortillas from the store anymore. Alton Brown is the GREATEST.

i used the slightly modified sweetened version and added some Cinnamon and it was great. i also added Nutella and bananas to make it complete and it was AWESOME. i wanted to add some apples and more Cinnamon but ran out of batter! a dozen or so was we needed anyway! Alton Brown is the GREATEST!
