Reviewed butternut squash soup

Nov 7, 2014 on

I am shocked at how tasty the soup was. I added a heaping tablespoon of chicken base, cayenne pepper and used cinnamon instead of nutmeg. The only thing different from my fattening recipe with heavy cream and butter is it isn't as thick, but, I actually like this version better. Please keep them coming.

Born and raised in New Orleans, we ate rice everyday. When my doctor told me I had to eat brown rice instead of white, it was a sad day in my house. The trick of coloring the brown rice with turmeric is nothing short of brilliance! It was delicious and my husband loved it.

OOMMGG!!!! This was unbelievaby good. I did have standing liquid, I think my loaf of brioche was smaller than Claire's. I'll reduce the stock next time to 3 cups. I added garlic and yellow onion to the celery and we were blown away. This will replace the cornbread dressing recipe I had planned to serve for Christmas dinner.

This is a keeper. Luckily I didn't notice the amount of salt and pepper and just added it to taste. Phew! It came out great."

This pancake recipe is a keeper. I've tried every recipe known to man for my husband and he hasn't liked any of them until this one. I can't wait to get Trisha's cookbook."

This is my first recipe to try of Nigella's. I am a believer now!!!!! It is rare that I find a chicken recipe worth preparing twice. The chicken fell from the bone when I put a fork to it. Both the chicken and the gravy were delicious."
