My Activity

Reviewed Gluten-Free Cornbread

"This was delicious... a little too salty for our taste, but very moist and delish.
**Don't use Rice Dream rice milk, tho, as it's made with barley and not really gluten free. Myself and my sons had horrible reactions to it for the longest time until I found this out.""

Reviewed Gooey Toffee Butter Cake

"Yum. Delicious..

And I was reading some of the comments.. Some people's cake turned out gooey and undone in the center and burnt on the bottom at the same time. It occurred to me while I was preparing, that it's possible they prepared the cake batter according to the box and then added another egg and the butter as per Paula's recipe. This is likely the culprit, as it would make sense that it would burn being too wet and being in for too long and undone in the middle due to too much moisture.

Hope this solves the caper.

I used Toblerone in my cake instead, because I couldn't find toffee bits. Sooooo good."
