"Made this tonight -- YUMMY and easy! I read through a lot of the other reviews and made the following changes. Doubled the recipe, used 6 cloves of garlic, 1 zucchini and 1 yellow squash, added an extra can of breans (tri color - pinto, kidney and black combo, used fire roasted tomatoes, and added some red pepper flakes toward the end of cooking"

"THANK YOU INA! Just make this soup yesterday and it was delicious! I didn't have heavy cream so used 1/2 & 1/2 and it was just fine. Next time I make it, I won't puree the veggies as long so it's a little chunkier. The crunch shallots were great on top.
