Reviewed ribeye with homemade steak sauce

I didn't make the sauce, but the steak was amazing. The cooking technique made for the perfect Ribeye. I like the idea of butter basting, that helps a lot. My cut wasn't as thick as Amys, mine was an inch thick or so. It was wonderful and I will prepare it this way more often.

Reviewed Tagliarelle with Truffle Butter

I havn't made the dish yet, but it looks and sounds so good. I couldn't find truffle butter, but I have white truffle oil and I will add it to some regular butter. I also couldn't find the pasta in her recipe, but I did find a wide fettucine noodle called Pappardelle and I plan on using that. Looks similar to the stuff in her recipe. Takes 6 minutes...

I havn't tried these yet as it is too hot to use my oven right now. I love Mashed potatoes and can't wait to try these, they look so good. I am wondering, instead of using heavy cream if I can use evaporated milk, undilated instead. ""
