Reviewed Chicken and Smoked Sausage Gumbo

"Great recipe, although making the roux is a pain, it is well worth it once you taste the dish! Even my kids love it - they get excited when they see me making it and ask for seconds or thirds. Thank you Emeril for another winner!

Reviewed Chicken Stew

"Followed the recipe exactly and we all enjoyed it, including the kids ages from 13-2. You do need to add salt & pepper to taste (she doesn't mention exactly how much so maybe that's why people found it bland). Was very easy, although I did let it simmer for about an hour. Next time I will try adding in the Italian sausage, which would make it even more hearty and delish. Definitely a keeper!

Reviewed Slow Cooker Chicken Chili

"My family all enjoyed this but it definitely had a lot of spice to it (we enjoy spicy though. Like other reviewers, next time I'll only include 1 pepper. I used 2 full chicken breasts (not halves instead of ground chicken, then shredded it and put it back in. Oh and I left out the chicken broth, so it might have been watery with it - we didn't miss it (just forgot about it). Very comforting food on a cold fall or winter day!
