Reviewed Bucatini with Bacon Sauce and Meatballs

Nov 20, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

My husband and I made this tonight and he declared it to be the BEST pasta dish he has EVER eaten! We love the consistency and the flavor of the meatballs and the bacon just made the sauce "over the top". It is a keeper for sure! Thank you Beau!""

This is a elegant, delicious and easy to make risotto that will impress your family and friends! We bagged the carrots and haricot verts (didn't have them in the pantry) but followed the recipe other than halving it. We didn't have fresh basil so we substituted dried italian seasoning, but it was still delicious. I'm always skeptical when it i...

Scrumptious! Although I think it is safe to say that this only makes 3 servings because we couldn't stop eating it!!! Added extra garlic because we love it and since I had extra fresh corn from the corn fritters we put a cup of corn in and the cobs to impart an extra layer of flavor. This is the second Neely soup that we will be keeping in our...

These fritters were the best I have ever tasted and so incredibly easy to make. Fresh corn cut off the cob made them absolutely delicious! Paired with your clam chowder it was a wonderful meal!""

Reviewed Braised Short Ribs

We LOVED this sauce - although it is VERY rich. My husband wasn't crazy about the short ribs - the fat got to him. Next time I make this I would swap giant meatballs or a pot roast for the short ribs.
I served it over herbed polenta and that just soaked up the flavor and the juices. I would use this sauce over pasta or spaghetti squash...

Extremely easy recipe to make and very delicious. You can snazz it up a bit by adding finely chopped celery, carrots, or nuts. I omitted the raisins since my family doesn't like them. Thank you Ina!

Oh my lands this was totally delicious! Had to buy a Dutch Oven, but it was well worth it. This is a keeper forever. Our markets don't carry the onions, but we just substituted large chunks of purple onion and extra garlic. With a loaf of crusty Italian Bread and butter it was the perfect meal! Can't wait for a cold winter's day to make it again!...
