"The only problem was the enormity of the recipe. I didn't know exactly how I was going to scale it down to feed only two. Luckily, I kept reading the comments and, thanks to Mary from Illinois, I didn't even have to experiment with the measurements because she listed everything that she did and it worked out fine.
She revised the recipe to 1 lb"
Reviewed French Apple Tart
"I was very distraught when my guests started to arrive and I could not tear the tart away from the parchment paper. The caramelized sugar spilled over the edges and was rock hard. It ended up breaking in several pieces and I had to turn it over to peel all the paper off. Some of the edge had to be cut off completely. I was upset that it didn't come out perfectly, but was delicious nonetheless.
