My Activity

Reviewed Coconut Toffee

"I really wanted this to work. Seems like others have had the same problem I had - ending up with pink sweet coconut. I'd love for someone to give some suggestions of where we shredded coconuters went wrong. I'd love to try again but not sure what to do differently. I added less coconut as other reviewers suggested. Reviewed Tomato Onion Cheddar Pie

"This is a good way to use the surplus of tomatoes from the garden. I doubled the amount of tomatoes and used 1/2 mayo and 1/2 plain yogurt. It was tasty."

Reviewed Potato-Crusted Halibut

"On the show it looked fabulous and doable - I even went out and bought a mandoline (I should have invested in a better one. Mine didn't get anywhere near paper thin.) The infused oil was very tasty and the fish actually turned out pretty well but wasn't pretty packages like Anne's. If I get a better mandoline I might try it again. It was anot""

Reviewed Sea Scallops with Caramelized Onion

"Easy Peasy and delicious. I think I had less broth that you did and would adjust next time. Everything else was perfect. One of my new favorite recipes - would be great for guests- very impressive but easy. First time I saw your show and I'm going to try all of the dishes. ""

Reviewed Charred Green Beans

"Loved these green beans! Made them with vege burgers. They were a nice substitute for french fries - crunchy and satisfying. Wish we would have made more.""
