Reviewed black bean salad

May 21, 2014 on

This was fantastic. I was looking for a new way to prepare black beans. I doubled the beans since I didn't have the pepper and I was making corn on the cob so didn't want to add corn. The dressing is terrific. My family loved it!

I wasn't expecting anything extra special based on the ingredients but it was excellent. I think the pesto added a lot. This was easy and really good. I'd make it again.

This was really great - I'd make it again. It was better than I expected for such a simple and fast meal. I followed the recipe but used fresh tomatoes instead of paste.

I really wanted this to work. Seems like others have had the same problem I had - ending up with pink sweet coconut. I'd love for someone to give some suggestions of where we shredded coconuters went wrong. I'd love to try again but not sure what to do differently. I added less coconut as other reviewers suggested. This is a good way to use the surplus of tomatoes from the garden. I doubled the amount of tomatoes and used 1/2 mayo and 1/2 plain yogurt. It was tasty."

This is my new favorite appetizer. Actually, we just had it for dinner. It was still warm and was delicious. I used roasted garlic batard bread that I toasted in the oven. If I owned a restaurant I'd have this on my menu. Keep the great recipes coming!""

Made them 2x and both times a big hit. Someone mentioned not using vanilla protein with the peanut butter. I did and think they are great. I'll give plain protein a try - maybe they'll be even better. I cooked the 2nd batch a bit longer and they got nice and brown on top.""

On the show it looked fabulous and doable - I even went out and bought a mandoline (I should have invested in a better one. Mine didn't get anywhere near paper thin.) The infused oil was very tasty and the fish actually turned out pretty well but wasn't pretty packages like Anne's. If I get a better mandoline I might try it again. It was ano...

Easy Peasy and delicious. I think I had less broth that you did and would adjust next time. Everything else was perfect. One of my new favorite recipes - would be great for guests- very impressive but easy. First time I saw your show and I'm going to try all of the dishes. ""

Not sure why this recipe turned out a bit dry? Definitely going to try again. It was simple and loved the flavors. I think I'll add less pasta and more tomatoes and a bit more wine. ""
