A delicious hit. I omitted the butter in the end and was grateful becasue it was perfectly rich and creamy without. So easy to make when using frozen corn.

This is a family favorite. So easy to make but looks and tastes like it took hours. I have learned to use frozen, thawed, mango becasue it is just easier.

This one is a keeper. Very flavorful. I added about 1.25t cayenne pepper cause our family likes the spice and it was a true hit. Also omitted the mint cause didn't have any on hand."

We only had Cabernet so used that and the sauce was amazing. We really enjoyed the spinach with lemon zest. Gave it a nice tangy kick. Will make again. "

Oct 10, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I will certainly make this one again. This recipe was not quite spicy enough for our taste so ended up adding a lot of chili sauce to the finished product. Next time I will add more spice to the broth as it cooks. Also consider adding chopped peanuts as garnish."

What a hit! The whole family went in for more again and again. The combination of 5 different cheeses was slightly expensive but well worth it. Will make this again and again. "

Reviewed Shrimp and Grits

Aug 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe was rich and full of wonderful flavor. The cheddar grits recipe is perfect exactly as it is. As a whole this meal is heavy in calories so don't make this if you are looking for something light!"

Reviewed Curry Chicken Pot Pie

Aug 17, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I made this just as the recipe called for it and the whole family thought it was a hit. It was different from any pot pie I had made in the past because the sauce is dark and not as creamy as I am used to. I also had never used puff pastry as the crust but let me tell you it was lovely. Will definitely prepare again, next time doubling the filling"

This is an good recipe with excellent flavor. Definitely will make again. My family enjoys spicy food so next time I will add more curry and red peppers. Also going to cut back on the liquid because it never really did thicken. Was still delicious. We ate it in bowls served over rice so the extra "broth" was not bad. Also great as leftovers when ...
