My Activity

Reviewed Egg-in-the-Hole

"This is a classic tried and true way to cook eggs and toast. We use healthy margarine and whole wheat bread. I break the yolk once it's in the pan and spread it with a knife on the bread; I like the egg to cover the toast as it cooks. We put syrup and powdered sugar on top when they're done. I call this dish lazy french toast. ""

Reviewed Crispy Orange Beef

"I haven't tried this particular recipe yet, but wanted to share about beef not being tender - chinese restaurants secret is slicing the meat and then sprinkling a tsp or so of baking soda on it - rub it in and let sit in a ziploc bag for an hour or 2. Rinse off thoroughly, pat dry and then continue with recipe. Guaranteed tender beef every time!
