Reviewed smothered pork chops and grits

Tried for the first time tonight after seeing it in the magazine. This one will be worked into the weeknight rotation. The sauce was fabulous! I added sliced mushrooms with the onions. Did not make the grits, but a basic rice that really soaked up the sauce.

My 83 year old mil devoured a giant piece of this (we sent her enough for 2 servings). My husband said it was the best prime rib he has ever eaten. The flavor was tremendous! My goto recipe from now on...thanks Michael Symon!

I used whole wheat French Bread left over from the day before, and frozen local blueberries. What a nice quick treat to have baking while I do the farm chores."
