Reviewed Mom's Homemade Granola
"This recipe is very delicious!!! It tastes better than store bought granola and is definately ALOT cheaper to make!! It's def better for you and isn't as sugary as storebought. I baked instead at 275 for one hour and stirred every 15 min though, for a better texture. It came out perfect! I also used applesauce instead of butter, which gave me p"

"This was very delicious!!! I modifyed it alittle bit so it would make enough for just me. I did 1/3 cup of lowfat yogurt, 1/3 cup rolled oats, and 1 tbsp. honey and then mixed it all together. It doesn't really need to sit overnight if you'd like you can actually eat it right away. The first time i did it with 1/2 cups berries and 2 tbsp nuts. The other times i just did it without those. I also mixed in a tbsp of granola cereal and that made it really good too. I really like this recipe!!!
Reviewed Chocolate Almond Brickle
"This recipe was alright. I split it and made one cashew and one almond. I used 1 1/2 cups of choc chips. When i did the carmel sauce over the stove I just did it around 7 min like it said, it was a little grainy so next time i plan on doing it maybe like 5 minutes. The temp went more than 180 like they said on the episode. This recipe has too much sugar so next time i'll prob reduce it to 1 cup or maybe less. Probably too much butter too, since Paula made it, you know how she loves butter!
Reviewed Peanut Butter Granola Bars
"These bars are pretty good. I used canola oil instead of butter because i don't like butter. I used less than 1/3cup of canola oil, 1/2 cup is DEF WAY TOOO MUCH!!! Next time i'll use 1/4 or less than that. THey were way too oily! I also added 1/3 cup flour along with the 2 cups oats. I didn't add the almonds because i'm not a fan of almonds and they hurt my teeth, so i figured i'd not add them and save some calories. I baked them in a 8x8 dish for about 18 min but they could have probably gone a little longer. Mine didn't fall apart like others sad their had. I really like them because they're not sugary tasting as some granola bars, they're kind of like a cookie but not so sugary or fattening i guess. I was gonna aid some flaxseed but i forget but next time i plan on doing that. Does anyone know how many calories these have?
