My Activity
Reviewed Sausage and Apple Stuffed Pork Roast
"it had a nice taste and everyone liked it, but not worth all the work that went into it. i have made other pork roasts that were much easier and equally good if not better.""
Reviewed Wedge Salad with Grilled Grape Tomatoes and Blue Cheese Vinaigrette
"Dressing was very tasty. Everyone in my family liked that, but nobody liked the wedge. I will make this again and tear the lettuce and serve tossed.""
Reviewed Lemon-Ginger Iced Tea with Berry Cubes
"alot of work for not alot of flavor. this seemed to take a long time with disappointing results."
Reviewed Mom's Homemade Granola
"Be careful on your timing. Put in oven for 20 minutes and the house smelled so great that we couldn't wait. Checked at 20 and it was mostly burnt. Let it cool and tried to remove most of the burnt part and it had a good taste anyway. Will try again and check often."
Reviewed Tomato Soup with Pancetta
"We really enjoyed this! So filling and satifying that we didn't even want the sandwiches we made to go with it. Took the advice of others about the bread and put a few chunks in with the onions and bacon (had that in the fridge so didn't buy pancetta and put the rest in the oven to crisp while I made the soup. I also added garlic to the onions, plus a can of tomato paste and used 4 cups of chicken broth. When it was done, we used the immersion blender to combine and thicken it up. I added the bread when serving and skipped the cream and it was great. We have leftover to freeze and I will added shredded cheese on top when serving.
