Sorry to say that the rolls turned out terrible. They were dense and tasted oily. I cut the recipe in half and measured exact. Rolls are supposed to raise high and be light and fluffy. But looking at Ree's picture of her rolls, hers didn't even raise above the rim of the pan??? I do love the show and will continue to watch.""

I watched the show just today and thought I would get the actual recipe on food network website. Half of the directions were not shown on the tv show! Claire said on the show to just forget about it in the pan once you stir the butter, brown sugar and cream together. Wrong! The website says to use a candy thermometer, sugar coat the nuts, etc...

I made this cake TWICE and was very disappointed both times. Made it exactly like it said and the cake sunk in the middle. The middle was too moist and dense while the outside edges were hard. I saw the show just today and couldn't wait to make the cupcakes... chocolate with pumpkin creamcheese filling YUM :)
Unfortunately, the filling was totally runny. It looked like pumpkin pie filling before you bake the pie. I added more powdered sugar but it didn't help. I was so disappointed.
