This soup was delicious, and I plan to use this as a base recipe for other recipes like cream of asparagus soup. I used 2% milk as another reader suggested, and I still considered it to be rich and creamy. It took me longer than the suggested time to soften my broccoli, but otherwise, it was a pretty easy dish. Worth making again, for sure....

This recipe is a winner! They work with whatever flavor of jam you have in hand and are a cinch to prepare. I used some fresh strawberry jam, and they tasted unbelieveable. I recommend going to Ree's blog and seeing step-by-step pictorial instructions. She always keeps you right on track with those.""
