My Activity

Reviewed Creme Brulee

"I invested in 16 ramekins for individual servings and I took them to my sister in laws for Thanksgiving last year. They are still talking about it. It just looks so elegant and special. I added some shaved candied ginger into the recipe and it gave it an extra special 5 star restaurant flavor. It was a big hit. "

Reviewed Stuffed Mushrooms

"The only problem I have is that I never seem to make enough. I literally have to buy 2 containers of the mushrooms. My 16 year old son just loves it. I think the peccorino cheese and the fresh mint is what makes it standout in terms of flavor. "

Reviewed Slow Cooker Red Beans and Rice

"Added green pepper and some chili flakes. Note the seasoning is actually already in the recipe (it comes from the andouille sausage which is heavily seasoned already. I served the red beans with cornbread. Much better combo than with rice, even though rice is traditional. Rice usually denotes asian food for me. Served with pomegranate martini"
