with 287 five star reviews, who could go wrong. Or so I mistakenly thought. This was extremely bland and when I served it at thanksgiving dinner, no one really ate it. Now I have 7 servings of leftovers that I need to figure out what to do with. Spinach soup maybe? sigh. what a disappointment.

great for Thanksgiving leftovers. I added cream and used daikon in lieu of potatoes. even the picky 6 year old ate it.

Judging by my hubby's slurping, it sounded like a do-over. I used a hunk of left over frozen meat in lieu of the salt pork and it still came out great. I think my clams were bigger than the ones called for so I had too much broth and it wasn't as thick and creamy as I prefer my fish (clam chowder, but it was still tasty. "
