Reviewed caribbean chicken wings

Jan 12, 2015 on

Family didn't care for it. Conflicting flavors, tossed leftovers.

Reviewed spiced beef kabobs with cucumber-yogurt sauce

Dec 28, 2014 on

Family liked it. Pretty mild, did with beef, shrimp, tofu and chicken. Might prefer a lighter yogurt next time, Fage is pretty thick and a little bitter? It is a keeper.

Reviewed crispy mustard-roasted chicken

Oct 14, 2014 on

Did this with both chicken and fish. Family liked the fish better. Cooked at 400' and it came out wonderfully crisp and moist. Cut way down on salt, and used fresh herbs. It is a keeper.

Reviewed zucchini parmesan crisps

Oct 10, 2014 on

First time really didn't like them, did again with panko and parm, much better.

Reviewed triple berry pie with granola crunchy crumb topping

Oct 6, 2014 on

I used premade crust but put in my own pie plate, 9.5", and no spillover. Will cut down on sugar next time to 1/2c, and cut down on tapioca as it was totally jelled, and we like it a little juicy. Granola was not liked by all.

Reviewed farro salad with radishes, arugula and feta

Jun 23, 2014 on

Really liked, added more lemon juice, and would cut down farro, but increase arugula next time.

Reviewed steamed mahi mahi with vegetables and garlic mustard sauce

May 15, 2014 on

I liked it, used half white wine for half the broth, and used a little Dijon with spicy mustard.

Reviewed Chicken and Biscuits

Sep 26, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

It was ok. A little bland, and the biscuits were too salty for my family. Might try them again as they were pretty easy."

Reviewed Roasted Asparagus

May 24, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

Be careful, this time is too long. Asparagus was mushy after 20 minutes. Check it after 10 min. as other chefs recommend."

Reviewed Going Green Leaf Salad

Jun 19, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

Really liked the dressing, but the cherries were a little too strong in flavor. Second time I made it I used dried cranberries, and liked that a lot better. "

Reviewed White Chocolate Cherry Chunkies

Dec 21, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

Started with original recipe, awful, big blobs because it had way too little butter. On second try doubled the butter, used one cup, not one stick. Better, but I think her triple chocolate cookies make a better base. Also went with dried cherries which I prefer.""
