I have made this several times and I have had the tomatillos be bitter once. I would try it again. Maybe it was just the tomatillos.

I don't know how it could take 4 hours to prep this dish. I'd say it took me an hour at the most to get it in the oven, and I'm not a fabulous, experienced cook by any means. I did mess up when assembling it, and didn't use enough sauce, so my lasagna came out kind of dry, still good flavor though. Thankfully, it wasn't for any special occasion"

I thought these meatballs were delicious! I served them over mashed potatoes. I didn't have any problems with the amount of butter or salt as some reviewers did. I didn't add the jelly because I didn't have any. I am surprised this recipe is classified as difficult. I wonder if this is a mistake. "
