Delicious... using suggestions from others, I doubled the vanilla, used very soft (but not completely melted) salted butter, omitted the additional kosher salt, creamed the wet ingredients with a mixer, but folded in the dry ingredients by hand. Chilled for about 30 minutes, then baked on parchment for about 12 minutes at 375. Perfection."
