Very nice tartness and pucker and good strawberry flavor, also it took 8 large juicy lemons to get 2cups fresh juice and just about a 1lb carton of fresh strawberries cut up to get 2 cups berries. I also used the large sliced peel of 2 lemons for my simple syrup instead of just 1.

This is absolutely delicious! I did add some additional seasonings as some previous posters suggested. I also added a carton of button mushrooms that I sliced and browned real well with the onion because I love the 'beefy' flavor boost and texture they give. Also, because I'm kind of lazy about watching things on the stove top during long braising...

It tasted ok, but looked nothing like her 'beauty shots' from the show episode. Making it exactly as the recipe and show described (other than ramping up the amounts of chili flakes and Italian Seasoning), it was solid and kind of hard in the middle, and not at all loose and moist like the episode showed us.

If I ever make this...

This cake was awesome just as others have said. I asked my husband to make it since it was so easy and 'husband-proof' in terms of messing it up. It turned out moist, flavorful, and heavenly. I'd let him make this again and again!!! He prepared the pan with butter and flour as directed, and it turned out easily and looked perfect. Total winne"

Overall it was good, but not 'OMG'. Although I agree it's simple to make. The amount of pepper once again was too much. Too much pepper in the gravy combined with way too much pepper in the biscuits and all the cayenne in the potatoes was just overwhelming and left our mouths on fire. If I make it again, I'll just decrease it a lot. You can al"

I see someone from FN has changed the amount of flour now, because when I printed this the other day it said 5 cups for 16 biscuits, now it says 3 cups for 16 biscuits. But when she did the show, she used 6 cups for 16 biscuits. Geez, too much confusion.

These were just awful. But then I used 6 cups of flour like she did on her...

Gave it 5 stars only because I took the advice of all who posted it was so bland and dry. I seasoned my ground beef real well with spices, onion and garlic as it was browning. I also increased the sour cream to a full cup, doubled the amount of grated cheese, and I didn't layer it in the dish. I mixed it all together in a large bowl then poured "
