My Activity

Reviewed Restaurant-Style Salsa

"Amazing! I went to a Mexican place after eating some of this and it was better than theirs, I was shocked!

It's better than me actually using fresh tomatoes and it's a whole lot easier!! I used a can of Mexican rotel and regular with 1/2 a jalapeno and it was spicy. Daughter and I liked it, but the hubby thought it was a little to much heat. I "

Reviewed Spicy Smoky S'mores Bars

"It's really good...instead of using her graham cracker recipe I used my own and then made the mistake of forgetting to make sure it was pushed firmly down...so trying to get it out of the pan proved a little difficult because the crust was falling off it! Other than that, it does taste like a smores and I will make it again!"

Reviewed Chocolate Chip Cookie

"Holy crap this are some good cookies!! I didn't have wheat flour so I just used all All-purpose flour and they turned out just fine. I also added 1/4 cup white chips and 1/4 cup dried cranberries. I baked them 7 minutes and then 5 minutes and when I ate one, it was so light and fluffy. I don't know if this will become my go-to recipe, but I will b"

Reviewed Chocolate Almond Brickle

"I used a candy thermometer and it reached 280 but I don't think it was cooked long enough. When I put the chocolate chips on top, they didn't melt like hers did on the show. I ended up mixing everything together on the pan and spreading it out. Even with it in the fridge for an hour, it was still REALLY soft. Next time, I'm trying the 7 minute timer, to see how that works.

Reviewed Holiday Horseradish Deviled Eggs

"BlueSatin...I have no idea where you came up with "I changed the whole recipe, so how could I rate it?" I did exactly what the recipe called for and still stand by my post that said something was missing...I don't know how adding a little more mayo to make it creamier and a little relish for texture is changing the whole recipe.

Reviewed Holiday Horseradish Deviled Eggs

"Knowing that a TBSP would be to much, I only used 1/2 TBSP of horseradish. I also added a little more mayo and some relish to the yolks. They were good, but sometime was missing in the eggs and the family and I couldn't figure it out. Will make again and try to find the elusive flavor.

Reviewed Cinnamon-Chocolate Fudge

"The chocolate flavor was great but I didn't like the cinnamon. I should have taken the suggestion of using only 1 tsp...I think that would have helped. I am making it again tonight without the cinnamon or the salt on top (daughter didn't like it) and with a little peanut butter melted in...we'll see how that goes.

Reviewed Moist and Easy Cornbread

"The family and I liked it well enough, but we wanted more of a cornmeal taste, so next time, less flour and more cornmeal.
