"Loved this recipe, especially the waffles. Didn't make the sauce but the baked chicken was good also..I wanted something not fried and breaded. I will be making the waffles again just on their own. The waffles had a depth of flavor I didn't expect, and the combination of whole wheat and regular flour gave them a nice taste as well."

"First off, really enjoy watching Paula and her family cook but these were terrible carrot cupcakes! Baking soda in cupcakes or muffins especially 1 T. of baking soda makes the cupcakes taste like baking soda...awful taste. No flavor to the cupcakes and I added spices to the batter. The tops of the cupcakes were rock hard for the ones that overflowed a bit and really don't like eating crispy cupcake tops. Frosting doesn't make enough for the cupcakes and the frosting wasn't great either.

I am going to find my epicurious carrot cake cupcake recipe. This one is going in the garbage with the majority of cupcakes. Glad I didn't make these for a party. Ew."

The comments were nice but don't rate it one star if you haven't made the recipe. It gives others the impression that the recipe is not good. I'm giving it five stars to balance that bad rating. Please Food Network give your commenters an area to post comments on the recipe even if they have not made it yet. Then we can differentiate between if the recipe is good according to people's opinions or not so good. Thank you.
