Reviewed Turkey Dumpling Stew

"First, I can only review the stew, not the dumplings, since I'm gluten-free and had to search for a different dumpling recipe. All in all, it's a decent stew, but nothing spectacular. And the flour in this makes it an unwelcoming gelatinous mess on day 2. I'm not putting flour in my soups again. Kudos on the parsnips though. ;)

Reviewed French Silk Pie

"Wow, I can't believe how complicated this recipe is, esp. since I later found another recipe for the same thing that is much, much simpler! (Here - http://www.cookiemadness.net/2009/10/amandas-french-silk-pie/) I also had major problems starting this recipe since none of the co-ops I shop at are willing to sell gelatin anymore, which I also would like to avoid, and I was using Natural Desserts Unflavored Gel Dessert instead. You can read my experience here: http://www.discusscooking.com/forums/f40/help-french-silk-pie-gelatin-substitute-meringue-68521.html#post943230. Decide for yourself I guess!
