My Activity
Reviewed Chicken Tortilla Soup
"Great easy recipe. I used jalapeno and costa rican ruby red sweet chili's. Shred the chicken dont cube it and puree the diced tomatoes. I left the beans out entirely the second time I tested it and liked it even more. "
Reviewed Balsamic Roasted Beet Salad
"I used toasted walnuts and fresh spinach. Quick and easy."
Reviewed Delmonico Steaks with Balsamic Onions and Steak Sauce
"Onions were great..The steak sauce really isnt a steak sauce it's more of a fortified ketchup. I made a batch and is great on burgers and when you make a meat loaf. I also used red wine vs. sherry. Delmonicos aren't a premium cut so cook mid rare let rest and cut into thin strips then drizzle the sauce over. If you make a batch of the sauce ahead "
Reviewed Sugar Cookies
"Made them for Christmas and were a big hit. Just make sure you time it at 7 mins. because they will burn quickly. Even if they look like they are soft and raw, the extra two minutes on the backing sheet after you remove them from the oven will complete the cooking process without burning them."
Reviewed Chile-Chicken Posole
"Simple, easy and tasty. If you dont have green chili's use diced tomatoes and a tsp. of achiote paste to bring out a rich red color. "
Reviewed Pumpkin Cheesecake
"Great and easy. I hate baking but this was a hit at Christmas. Wouldnt change a thing. Make sure you chill it over night and let it set up."
Reviewed Carrot Salad
"Great as is. Second time I hit it with a little agave syrup just to put a twist on it. "
Reviewed Fresh Corn Casserole
"Quick easy side dish with great flavor..I sub'd a jalapeno for the pimento."
