Reviewed Red Velvet Cake

"This cake turned out very light and very moist...of course, as always I bake less minutes than it says as it seems my oven runs high and it always takes less time...The frosting is one that I used to make years ago when my children were small...you do need to beat it well to incorporate the sugar and the flour/cream paste....and make sure to put was paper or plastic over the flour mixture before you put in the refrigerator or it will get a crust and you don't want that in the frosting...it will make tiny lumps that do not taste good. All in all....good cake and great icing...fluffy and not too sweet...

Reviewed Parker House Rolls

"I have been baking for years...this is a terrible recipe and I am stuck for Thanksgiving...didn't double in bulk...tried it twice...think the instructions for "blooming the yeast" are grossly incorrect...Guys..you better get these proofed before you put in the magazine...will go back to my sisters recipe for rolls...I am so disappointed..makes me think twice before using recipes from the magazine....
