My Activity

Reviewed Italian Baked Chicken and Pastina

"This dish has been on my dinner rotation for years now! It is a complete hit with my 7 year old and I almost always have the ingredients on hand. I've definitely customized it a little by adding more salt, fresh parsley and basil and seasoning my chicken before cooking. It is also a great meal to make a lot of for next-day lunches...it heats up"

Reviewed 5-Minute Individual Potato Gratins

"I have made this a few times and get great reviews every time! I add some gruyere in with the swiss for a little tang and also use an 8x10 baking dish. Comes out creamy and cheesy in the middle and nice and crispy on top. So good!

Tip: using a mandolin make slicing the potatoes perfectly, every time!""

Reviewed Chicken with Mustard Mascarpone Marsala Sauce

"The first time I make a recipe I do not alter it in anyway so I am able to review it as it's intended. I felt the mustard was too overpowering and the overall taste too sweet for my liking. It was just "ok" for my family, and a recipe I would definitely tweek if I were to make again. My suggestions would be to cut back on the mustard, use less ""

Reviewed 5-Minute Individual Potato Gratins

"I made this last night and everyone LOVED it! I tweeked it a little by adding grated Gruyere cheese and thinly sliced yellow onion. Swiss cheese on its own is a little too bland for me and the Gruyere really gave it a kick! I am definitely going to make this again, but will use a ramiken as my muffin tin is a little too shallow for my liking.""

Reviewed Chicken Enchiladas with Roasted Tomatillo Chile Salsa

"To Txhoneybee: Read the end of the recipe- "Serve hot with Spicy Black Beans and Yellow Rice, the remaining tomatillo salsa, SOUR CREAM and fresh guacamole, if desired." Really not a reason to give one star because you couldn't figure out to servce as a condiment.

Reviewed Shepherd's Pie

"I made this dish and my family absolutely loved it...and they didn't really care WHAT it was called! I see people giving star ratings, but only obsessing over the title of this dish, NOT the quality. Get over yourselves people...It's just dinner. I'm sure your culture wasn't tarnished by the title of this recipe."
