"First and foremost, I can not believe I made this dish!! I love cooking, but rarely do I step out of my comfort zone, and Indian food of all things seemed way too ambitious!! How wrong I was! I actually feel proud of myself. I watched Aarti's video a few times, dashed to the Grands International Market (where I found EVERYTHING in the recipe) and got right to work. I love the way the dish turned out. I used can tomatoes (28 oz); it's January and I live in VA, the tomatoes look like plastic children's toys. I used the broiler for the chicken. The cooking time with my oven was twice as long as stated. I waited for the charring which made all the difference. MMM... I even had to pour a glass of wine!
