Reviewed Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic

Jan 21, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

So good and really easy. The simple recipes really are the best! I used a whole 4.5 roaster chicken that I de-skinned and cut up. The meat was tender and fell off the bones the sauce was fantastic. I love spreading roasted garlic on slices of bread. Yumm!"

Reviewed Butternut Squash Soup with Chipotle Cream

Oct 23, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Spicy but, I love spice so it's yummy. I just used the 4 cups as I like a thicker non broth soup. I omitted the chipotle cream which likely would have tempered the heat somewhat but, it was still a soup my husband and I loved. Filling dinner for soup and salad."

*singsongy* yummy yummy yummy. So good. I had never finished off french toast in the oven and it really helps with cooking evenly all the way through as I love THICK french toast slices. I find that leaving the bread out overnight, pre sliced, in a single layer in an open bag dries out the bread enough to soak in the custard. I left the slices out"

Very very good recipe. The BBQ sauce is amazing and you will have extra which is fine for making BBQ chicken in the slow cooker during the week. The mop sauce was also very good. ""

I used just escarole and this was so yummy. It pairs wonderfully with a savory main such as beef wellingtons or pot pies. I also tossed the escarole into a sate pan for a few minutes to help with the wilting proccess.""

Dec 25, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Outstanding! I replaced the pate with a thin slice of Blue Cheese as we aren't fans of pate. I also cook the wellingtons for a couple minutes seam side up then flip over for the duration of cooking so that the bottoms of the pastry cooks all the way through.""

Aug 2, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

very good, even my husband who does not like fruit loved this. the "crust" is more like a dumpling and I think that may throw people by making them think it needs to cook longer and they end up overcooking the cobbler. I did not have self rising flour however, you can add a ratio of baking soda to flour to make self rising which is what I did a...

These were really good and super simple to make. I think there was a little too much sugar for my tastes though. I substituted 2c of whole wheat flour and 1 1/4c all purpose flour, used egg whites instead of whole eggs and splenda in place of sugar and they came out wonderfully. I made them as muffins and baked for 25 min. I love to make muffi"

Jul 2, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Really goo. It takes a while but, it isn't too difficult to make. Everyone loved it. I left off the "juilienne" strips of squash as mine turned to mush. I also did not have mascapone cheese so, I used cream cheeses instead. Everything else was as stated in the recipe and turned out wonderfully!"

Good, not too heavy or greasy which some broccoli/cheese casserolesare prone to. I used1% milk instead of heavy cream and it came out perfect. I might use a tad less cheese next time and more pepper or cayenne but, it was great."

Apr 30, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Super moist and the apple and cinnamon flavors are wonderful. A great company coffee cake for brunch or to just have around the house when you have visitors as it stays moist and flavorful. I didn't make the glaze, it doesn't need it unless you really want sweet. The apples and sugar in the cake make it sweet enough.

Really good sauce! I mean it's Emeril so, why wouldn't it be good! I didn't have tomato paste so I just used ketchup and the sauce came out just fine.
