My Activity

Reviewed Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic

"So good and really easy. The simple recipes really are the best! I used a whole 4.5 roaster chicken that I de-skinned and cut up. The meat was tender and fell off the bones the sauce was fantastic. I love spreading roasted garlic on slices of bread. Yumm!"

Reviewed Butternut Squash Soup with Chipotle Cream

"Spicy but, I love spice so it's yummy. I just used the 4 cups as I like a thicker non broth soup. I omitted the chipotle cream which likely would have tempered the heat somewhat but, it was still a soup my husband and I loved. Filling dinner for soup and salad."

Reviewed French Toast

"*singsongy* yummy yummy yummy. So good. I had never finished off french toast in the oven and it really helps with cooking evenly all the way through as I love THICK french toast slices. I find that leaving the bread out overnight, pre sliced, in a single layer in an open bag dries out the bread enough to soak in the custard. I left the slices out"

Reviewed Warm Wilted Winter Greens

"I used just escarole and this was so yummy. It pairs wonderfully with a savory main such as beef wellingtons or pot pies. I also tossed the escarole into a sate pan for a few minutes to help with the wilting proccess.""

Reviewed Individual Beef Wellingtons

"Outstanding! I replaced the pate with a thin slice of Blue Cheese as we aren't fans of pate. I also cook the wellingtons for a couple minutes seam side up then flip over for the duration of cooking so that the bottoms of the pastry cooks all the way through.""
