Reviewed Red Cabbage Slaw

Good recipe, but too much sugar, raisins and vinegar. I reduced the sugar to 1 spoon but still it was too sugary to my taste. Nuts (walnuts) and apple might be good addition.

These are so great! If you exploring new ways to cook zucchini this is the one to try! And my kids loved it; no questions! I made them for snack and the whole plate was gone within seconds. I always read negative reviews first...And yes, zucchini are plain. If you don't like them this recipe is not for you. We love veggies and eat them raw, cooked"

Reviewed Lobster Rolls with Curry Mayonnaise

May 30, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I agree with other posts that curry mayo is wonderful and is good with lobsters, with shrimps, and with chicken (tried all three variations but served as salads, not on buns). I have few things to note: to my taste the red onion has very strong taste and even when added in smaller amounts still overpowers even curry mayo, thus I used either regula"

It was good. We like "crunchy" potato salads, so added celery and onion. Liked chives and dill in this salad. "

Great recipe. Made it several times already and will keep it for sure. I don't like to use oven during the summer when it is hot and a/c is working non-stop. So, tried to make it in skillet. It was good too."

It is great. The only thing for us is too many eggs for 2 adults and 3 kids. I used only 5 eggs and used whole milk instead of water and made it for breakfast. Quick, easy, tasty. "

Perfect potato salad. Capers give it new twist. When I made it second time I also added pickles. The only thing is when followed the recipe I've got a lot of salad much more than my family of 5 could eat. Looks like our serving size is different. So, the next time I reduced almost all ingredients to half of what's listed with exception of onion, c"

Aug 2, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

It was a complete disaster for me, specially to spoon ricotta over eggs... I guess you have to be skilled and very patient to do it evenly and not to disturb eggs too much; as a result I had spots with lots of ricotta and we didn't like it. Probably should try with another cheese or practice to spoon ricotta as I liked the presence of radicchio an"

First time I did exactly as written and it was too much vinegar and dressing (very acidic - hard for stomach :- . We could not taste the veggies. However, I liked the idea very much. On next attempts, I changed proportions and reduced some of the ingredients to adopt to kids and family taste. Did go much easy on vinegar (few table spoons only, hal"
