Reviewed Roast Prime Rib with Thyme Au Jus

"Good basic recipe. I rub/smear in 'beef base' in lieu of the salt and sear the outside of the meat before I slap it into the oven (500 degrees for about 25-30 minutes), then lower it to 325 for the remainder until rare! The beef base imparts such an intense flavor, it's almost hedonistic. "
