Made this for dinner tonight and my better half was going crazy with the aroma while this was cooking. I did as others suggested and doubled the sauce ingredients and the mushrooms. I used a sweet red rose wine instead of the marsala wine (the only bottle I found was only $6 and it didn't say "sweet", and I just wasn't going to try it) and I did...

This rrecipe is winner, winner! My husband loves pasta dishes and I believe I have cooked up most of the pasta recipes on this site over the years. We've had some that were "keepers" and a lot that didn't even make it to the refrigerator... they went straight into the garbage. Husband says this one "is the real deal! Nuff said.

Just made this for dinner tonight on a cold and windy Dallas night and this stew is a winner! Hit the spot right on! Spicy...but not too spicy and warms the whole body going down. Great salmon recipe, quick and the sauce is wonderful. Can see that it would also work for chicken. Made the salmon except I baked mine in the oven on 435 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes, made Ina's roasted broccoli, and Alton's polenta and it was sheer enjoyment for everyone! Loved it and will repeat this again.

Amazing recipe! Easy and quick. I made mine on the stove top because I had other dishes going on in the oven. After the stock came to a boil and I added the cornmeal, took about 5 to 7 minutes until the end results! Fabulous! Love this and so did the family.
